Junior Maintenance Technician - Cargo

About the role

As a Junior Maintenance Technician in the cargo division, you will support senior technicians in maintaining a wide range of equipment, vehicles and plant used by dnata’s technical services workshops. You will help ensure that all assets are kept operational, safe and compliant with regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain clean and organized workshop and work areas, and care for tools and equipment.
• Assist in diagnosing and repairing faults on equipment, vehicles and plant to minimise downtime.
• Record all maintenance activities in the log book or work order system for accurate planning.
• Follow standard safety procedures to prevent personal injury and equipment damage.
• Notify senior technicians of required spare parts and tools to ensure timely completion of work.
• Support scheduled maintenance in line with manufacturers’ recommendations, ISO, EASA/GCAA regulations and legal requirements.
• Perform daily inspections of equipment, vehicles and plant for reliability and safety.
• Carry out ULD repair and assembly tasks according to approved procedures.
• Assist with maintenance of facility systems such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, ground power units (GPU), pre‑conditioned air (PCA) units and generators.

Required profile

• Completed a two‑year trade certificate course in an engineering discipline.
