Junior Service Technician

About the role

Otis is looking for a Service Technician to join its Abu Dhabi team. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on elevators and escalators, ensuring safe and reliable operation for our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose technical issues in elevator and escalator systems.
• Carry out repairs and routine maintenance on elevators and escalators.
• Perform Preventive Maintenance (PPM) to maintain optimal performance and safety.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and Otis standards.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent customer service.

Required profile

• ITI/Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical engineering or B.Tech.
• 5‑8 years of experience in the elevator and escalator industry.
• Strong knowledge of elevator and escalator components and systems.
• Understanding of safety regulations and industry best practices.
• Excellent problem‑solving, analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
