Junior Sommelier

About the role
The Junior Sommelier will join TAPASAKE, an award‑winning lifestyle dining concept where Japanese cuisine meets Mediterranean flavours in Dubai. Working alongside experienced sommeliers, you will help deliver an elevated wine and beverage experience to guests in a luxury setting.
Key responsibilities
- Assist senior sommeliers during daily service, including wine recommendations and presentations.
- Maintain proper wine storage conditions and ensure cleanliness of wine stations.
- Support inventory counts and assist with stock management.
- Learn and suggest wine and sake pairings that complement the menu.
- Participate in beverage promotions, tasting events and guest service initiatives.
Required profile
- 1‑3 years experience in luxury hospitality or fine‑dining environments.
- Previous exposure to wine service is preferred.
- Strong passion for wine; knowledge of sake is an advantage.
- Excellent communication, professional appearance and a guest‑focused attitude.
