Junior Technician – Maintenance

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Technician to join our maintenance team at Emirates Flight Catering. Working under the guidance of a supervisor, you will perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on various systems, ensuring safe and efficient operations.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out all scheduled and non‑scheduled maintenance services of systems under supervisor guidance.
• Inspect, record readings on prescribed log sheets or checklists.
• Handle tools properly and optimise use of consumables.
• Maintain a tidy, professional work environment before, during and after tasks.
• Communicate work performed to the supervisor and hand over pending jobs at shift end.
• Use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while performing maintenance.
• Apply EKFC Quality Policy and ISO 9001:2000 quality system in all activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Control or Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience in a similar role within hospitality, catering, facility management or project management.
• 100 % attendance and participation.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
