Junior Technician – Maintenance & Repairs

About the role

The Junior Technician will join the maintenance team at Emirates Flight Catering, carrying out repairs and routine maintenance on catering and facility equipment under the guidance of a supervisor.

Key responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on electrical, mechanical and control systems.
• Record readings and observations on log sheets or checklists.
• Handle tools and consumables efficiently and maintain a tidy work area.
• Communicate progress and hand over pending tasks to the supervisor at shift end.
• Use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for all tasks.
• Apply EKFC’s Quality Policy and ISO 9001:2000 procedures.
• Assist with any additional duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Control or Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience in a similar role within hospitality, catering, facility management or project management.
• Strong technical and analytical abilities with 100 % attendance.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
