About the role
We are looking for a Kafka Engineer with deep expertise in Confluent Kafka to design, develop, and support enterprise‑level event‑streaming platforms for high‑volume banking applications.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop Kafka producers, consumers, and stream‑processing applications.
- Manage Kafka Connect, Kafka Streams, and KSQLDB components.
- Support UAT, production deployments, and platform monitoring.
- Perform Kafka cluster administration and troubleshooting.
- Optimize streaming performance and scalability.
- Collaborate with Data Engineering and DevOps teams.
Required profile
- 3–8 years of professional experience with Apache Kafka and Confluent Platform.
- Strong background in building and maintaining high‑throughput streaming solutions for banking or similar domains.
