Kenfix Technician – Maintenance & Repairs

About the role

The Kenfix Technician provides on‑site maintenance and repair services for guest rooms, kitchen, mechanical rooms and building facilities. You will respond to guest requests, perform preventive maintenance and ensure all equipment operates safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Attend to guest repair requests and communicate resolutions.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tools, kitchen equipment, and mechanical room assets.
• Inspect, clean, lubricate and troubleshoot a wide range of systems.
• Identify and operate shut‑off valves for equipment and building utilities.
• Maintain inventory, requisition parts and supplies as needed.
• Document daily activities and hand over information to subsequent shifts.
• Execute surface preparation, painting, minor drywall and wood‑trim repairs.
• Test, troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC and other guestroom items.
• Program televisions, manage housekeeping‑related inventory and use lockout/tagout procedures before work.
• Perform interior and exterior landscaping and sprinkler maintenance.

Required profile

• Basic knowledge of air‑conditioning, refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, pneumatic/electronic controls, carpentry and kitchen equipment.
• Ability to follow safety, security and company policies.
• Good communication skills and professional appearance.
• Physical ability to lift and move objects up to 50 lb and perform heavier lifts with assistance.
