Kitchen Specialist – Retail

About the role

The Kitchen Specialist is responsible for managing the kitchen department within the IKEA store in Jebel Ali, driving sales and ensuring a high-quality customer experience. The role combines sales promotion, stock coordination, and cross‑functional collaboration to meet annual targets.

Key responsibilities

• Actively promote the Kitchen Design Service to boost sales and encourage add‑on sales.
• Conduct customer surveys and monitor competitors to identify market gaps.
• Schedule and track customer appointments to reduce waiting times.
• Collaborate with the Range department to monitor stock levels and recommend order quantities.
• Coordinate with home delivery and assembly teams, audit kitchen designs and follow up on jobs.
• Maintain regular customer communication to gather feedback and improve service.
• Assist in preparing annual business plans and budgets.
• Review daily and monthly KPIs, create action plans and control costs.
• Train staff on design systems and kitchen range products, supervise kitchen designers and manage schedules.

Required profile

• High School or Trade School graduate.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency in English; Arabic is a plus.
• Good understanding of home‑furnishing markets and trends.
