L2 Desktop Support Engineer – Onsite (Dubai)

About the role

Excis is looking for an enthusiastic L2 Desktop Support Engineer to join its onsite team in Dubai. You will be the primary point of contact for executive and VIP users, delivering fast, reliable IT support across desktops, laptops, mobile devices and peripheral equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide onsite technical assistance for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers and peripherals.
• Deliver VIP support for executive users and handle remote‑user issues across multiple locations.
• Install, configure, image, deploy, maintain and replace hardware; manage BIOS, OS, drivers, Microsoft applications, VPN, encryption and endpoint security settings.
• Perform hardware upgrades, software installations, patch deployments and device lifecycle refreshes.
• Handle IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change, Decommission) requests, data backup/restoration and user profile migrations.
• Troubleshoot basic LAN, WAN, Wi‑Fi and network connectivity problems; provide Level 1 voice and data cabling support.
• Prepare meeting rooms, AV equipment and video‑conferencing systems; coordinate vendor assistance when needed.
• Maintain accurate IT asset inventory, manage loaner devices and oversee asset disposal.
• Coordinate with internal teams and third‑party vendors for incident resolution and warranty replacements.
