L2 IT Support Engineer (Senior Level)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Level L2 IT Support Engineer to provide on‑site end‑user support at client locations in Al Ain and Abu Dhabi. The role involves maintaining Windows workstations, servers, networking equipment and a wide range of business applications.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver on‑site technical assistance to end users, troubleshooting Windows, iOS and macOS environments.
• Install, configure and support Autodesk, AutoCAD and other architecture software.
• Manage Windows Server platforms (2012, 2016, 2019, 2022) including clustering, RAID, migrations and Hyper‑V virtualization.
• Administer Office 365, SharePoint, OneDrive and email hosting migrations, including DNS and SSL VPN setups.
• Configure and maintain firewalls (FortiGate, SonicWall, Sophos) and VPN tunnels.
• Handle backup solutions (Veeam, Acronis, cloud backup) and storage devices (QNAP, NAS).
• Perform LAN/WAN troubleshooting, Wi‑Fi AP configuration and printer support.
• Document IT assets, infrastructure changes and preventive maintenance activities.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of relevant IT support experience.
• Professional certifications such as MCSE, MCP, MCITP or MCSA.
• Valid driving licence and personal vehicle.
• Strong communication skills and proactive attitude.
