Land Surveyor – Roads (Abu Dhabi)

About the role

Parsons is seeking an experienced Land Surveyor to join its Roads team in Abu Dhabi. You will work on‑site as part of a survey crew, delivering accurate field surveys and supporting the construction of roads, infrastructure and bridges.

Key responsibilities

• Perform land and field surveys, including geodetic calculations.
• Interface with clients and contractors to verify survey requirements.
• Complete surveying tasks within schedule, man‑hour and cost budgets.
• Check setting‑out, levels, and service locations to ensure protection.
• Prepare sketches, maintain field books, and record calculations.
• Assist in the preparation of as‑built drawings.
• Observe site safety procedures and support health‑and‑safety initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of land surveying experience on roads, infrastructure or bridge projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction sequences and industry work procedures.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CAD software.
• Experience using survey software.
• Operation of total stations, data collectors and GPS equipment.
