Landscape Architect - Site Supervision

About the role

WSP is looking for an experienced Landscape Architect to lead on‑site supervision of landscape works for major transportation, road and utility projects across the UAE. The role involves ensuring that construction aligns with design intent, specifications and client expectations while maintaining high quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise landscape construction on‑site, verifying compliance with approved drawings, specifications and project standards.
• Monitor contractor performance, workmanship, and the installation of planting, irrigation systems and hardscape elements.
• Conduct site inspections, produce inspection reports, snagging lists and progress assessments.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary supervision teams including roads, utilities, civil and infrastructure engineers.
• Review contractor submissions, shop drawings, method statements and material approvals related to landscape works.
• Assist in resolving technical issues, attend site meetings and liaise with clients, contractors and stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, including extensive UAE site‑supervision on transportation, road, highway and utility projects.
• Strong consultancy‑side construction supervision experience and proven track record supervising landscape and irrigation works on infrastructure projects.
• Good understanding of UAE authority requirements and construction standards.
