Landscape Architect – Urbanism & Planning

About the role

We are seeking a talented Landscape Architect to join AECOM’s Urbanism + Planning studio in Abu Dhabi. The role involves creating compelling landscape designs and guiding them from concept through construction, ensuring aesthetic quality, functionality and sustainability.

Key responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive landscape design concepts and master plans for residential, commercial and mixed‑use projects.
• Conduct site analysis and feasibility studies, considering climate, soil, water management and local environmental factors.
• Produce technical drawings, specifications and construction documentation using industry‑standard software.
• Manage the design development process from concept to final construction documents, maintaining alignment with client objectives.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, multidisciplinary teams, clients and contractors to deliver high‑quality outdoor spaces.

Required profile

• Minimum three years (36 months) of professional experience in landscape architecture.
• Strong understanding of sustainable landscape design practices and local Abu Dhabi environmental considerations.
• Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams and communicate design intent clearly.
