Laundry Attendant – Dubai Business Bay

About the role

InterContinental Residences Dubai Business Bay is looking for a dedicated Laundry Attendant to join its housekeeping team. The role involves handling guest garments, linens and staff uniforms, ensuring they meet the high cleanliness and presentation standards of IHG and Forbes-level service.

Key responsibilities

• Sort, wash, dry, press and fold guest laundry, hotel linens and uniforms following established procedures.
• Operate washers, dryers, presses and ironing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Identify fabric types and apply correct washing and pressing methods to avoid damage.
• Inspect items for stains, damage or wear and report issues to the Laundry Supervisor.
• Maintain a clean, organized and hygienic laundry work area.
• Adhere to health, safety and chemical handling standards and report any equipment malfunctions.
• Collaborate with Housekeeping and other departments to ensure timely delivery of laundry services.

Required profile

• Minimum of one month experience in a laundry or similar hospitality environment.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures.
• Commitment to maintaining high hygiene and safety standards.
