Laundry Attendant

About the role

Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts is seeking a dedicated Laundry Attendant to join its housekeeping team at the Airport Road property in Dubai. You will play a vital part in delivering a clean and comfortable environment for guests by handling all laundry operations with efficiency and care.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, sort, and process hotel linens, towels, and guest laundry using industrial washing equipment.
• Ensure proper loading, detergent usage, and cycle selection according to fabric type.
• Fold, sort, and distribute clean items to appropriate service carts and guest rooms.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area, adhering to health and safety standards.
• Assist with inventory checks and report any equipment issues promptly.

Required profile

• Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
• Capability to lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Commitment to following company policies, confidentiality, and quality standards.
• Professional appearance and communication skills.

Required skills

• Basic operation of industrial laundry machines.
• Understanding of fabric care and detergent handling.
