About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Laundry Attendant to join Madinat Jumeirah. The role involves handling guest clothing, linens and staff uniforms while maintaining the high standards of service expected at a luxury resort.

Key responsibilities

• Sort and categorize guest clothing, linens, and staff uniforms, ensuring proper handling and segregation.
• Inspect garments for stains or damage and apply appropriate cleaning techniques while preserving garment quality.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently, following correct washing, drying, ironing, and folding procedures.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure all laundered items meet cleanliness, presentation, and service standards.
• Monitor laundry inventory, report replenishment needs, and perform routine equipment checks, reporting any malfunctions.
• Follow health and safety procedures, maintain a clean working environment, and provide professional service when handling guest requests or concerns.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or relevant certificate.
• Intermediate proficiency in MS Office and strong English (or preferred local language) skills.
• Strong customer‑service orientation, attention to detail, and commitment to ASPIRE competencies.
• Adaptable team player with a positive attitude, cultural awareness and reliability.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience within the international hospitality industry.
