Laundry Supervisor

About the role

We are looking for a Laundry Supervisor to lead the daily laundry operations at our hotel in Dubai. You will ensure guest laundry, hotel linen and uniforms are processed efficiently while maintaining the highest quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all laundry activities, including washing, drying, pressing, folding and finishing.
• Inspect linen and uniforms for cleanliness, stains, damage and overall quality.
• Allocate daily duties, monitor team performance and productivity.
• Maintain and perform basic maintenance on laundry equipment.
• Manage chemicals, supplies and linen inventory to minimise waste.
• Ensure compliance with hygiene, health‑and‑safety and chemical‑handling procedures.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping and other departments to meet linen and uniform requirements.
• Train and coach team members on procedures, quality standards and safe work practices.
• Report equipment breakdowns, shortages or operational issues to management.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience in hotel laundry operations, preferably in a supervisory role.
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage a diverse team.
• Previous experience with an international hotel brand is an advantage.

Required skills

• Operation of industrial laundry equipment.
• Handling of laundry chemicals and safety procedures.
• Linen and uniform inspection and quality control.
