Laundry Supervisor

About the role

The Laundry Supervisor leads daily laundry operations for a hotel in Dubai, ensuring guest laundry, hotel linen, and uniforms are processed accurately and on time while maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily laundry operations and team activities.
• Monitor washing, drying, pressing, folding and finishing standards.
• Inspect linen and uniforms for cleanliness, stains, damage and quality.
• Allocate duties, track team performance and productivity.
• Maintain equipment, chemicals, supplies and linen inventory to minimise waste.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and chemical‑handling procedures.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping and other departments for timely linen and uniform delivery.
• Report equipment breakdowns, shortages, damages and operational issues to management.

Required profile

• Minimum 2–3 years experience in hotel laundry operations, preferably supervisory.
• Good knowledge of laundry equipment, chemicals, linen handling and finishing processes.
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage a diverse team.
• Previous experience with an international hotel brand is preferred.
