Laundry Technician

About the role

As a Laundry Technician at Swissotel Al Ghurair in Dubai, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of the hotel’s laundry plumbing and electrical systems, ensuring smooth operation of all laundry equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and service all laundry equipment to prevent breakdowns.
• Perform preventive maintenance and ensure quick turn‑over of equipment.
• Conduct regular security rounds and equipment counts in the laundry area.
• Respond promptly to equipment failures and be available for emergencies in line with hotel policies.
• Operate in a safe, environmentally‑friendly manner and comply with health, safety and environmental regulations.

Required profile

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in laundry equipment maintenance, preferably in the hospitality sector.
• Mechanical or technical certification is an advantage.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities, reliability and a positive attitude.
• Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.
• Physical capability to stand, walk, lift up to 20 lb and use ladders as needed.
