Lead Accountant – Corporate & Private Office

About the role

The Lead Accountant will oversee financial operations for both the corporate entity and its private office, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance, and efficient expense management. You will work closely with senior management to provide insights that drive financial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger by processing all invoices, payments, and purchase orders for the company and private office.
• Prepare and summarize financial records and statements.
• Manage expense reporting and control.
• Assess business transactions and produce accurate analytical reports.
• Conduct periodic audits to verify the accuracy of financial data, expenses, and savings.
• Organize and file federal, state, and local income tax documents.
• Support budgeting processes and contribute to financial planning.
• Brief management regularly on financial position and recommend improvement actions.
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures.
• Stay current with industry and regulatory changes.
• Address tax and accounting queries promptly.
• Handle employee payroll in compliance with WPS and MOHRE regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of proven experience as a public accountant, preferably in the GCC.
• CPA certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of local and federal tax regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical abilities.
• Solid understanding of accounting software and MS Office.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
