Lead Architect – Design Development & Technical Coordination

About the role

The Lead Architect will translate design intent into precise technical deliverables and ensure seamless coordination of architectural work throughout design and construction phases. Working closely with internal teams, consultants and on‑site crews, you will uphold the highest standards of quality, compliance and buildability for large‑scale residential or mixed‑use projects in the UAE.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and produce architectural drawings, including detailed shop drawings, from schematic to construction stages.
• Ensure all drawings reflect design intent, project requirements and UAE regulatory standards.
• Coordinate with MEP, structural and façade consultants to integrate multidisciplinary inputs.
• Conduct technical reviews and QA/QC checks on all architectural documentation.
• Validate and review shop drawings submitted by contractors.
• Perform site inspections, resolve on‑site technical issues and support construction teams.

Required profile

• 8‑10 years of architectural practice with a strong technical delivery focus.
• Proven experience on large‑scale residential or mixed‑use developments in the UAE.
• Demonstrated ability to manage drawing packages from design through construction.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture (mandatory); professional registration preferred.
• Fluent English; Arabic is an advantage.
