Lead Data Intelligence Project Manager

About the role

Dyson’s Data Intelligence team is looking for a Lead Data Intelligence Project Manager to orchestrate data operations that power product development across global teams. You will act as the bridge between external project teams and internal technical departments, ensuring seamless data logistics throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison between external project teams and Dyson’s Data Curation and MLOps departments.
• Own end‑to‑end data logistics, from storage setup to delivery of high‑quality training datasets.
• Lead the labeling workforce, balancing in‑house contractors with third‑party providers to avoid capacity bottlenecks.
• Oversee data storage configuration and maintenance, guaranteeing security, accessibility, and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain rigorous documentation and repeatable workflows for project transparency.
• Facilitate cross‑functional communication among data teams, contractors, and engineering partners.

Required profile

• 8+ years of Project or Program Management experience, including at least 2 years in AI/ML data operations or data management.
• Proven track record delivering complex projects on time and within scope in fast‑changing environments.
• Demonstrated success managing third‑party vendors, including contract negotiation, quality assurance, and issue resolution.
• Strong understanding of the machine‑learning lifecycle: collection, cleaning, labeling, training, and deployment.
• Excellent ability to translate technical MLOps constraints for business stakeholders and vice‑versa.
