Lead DevOps Engineer – CI/CD & AI Agent Workflows

About the role

Globant is looking for a Lead DevOps Engineer to own the CI/CD strategy, containerization, Helm chart management, and continuous testing integration for AI Agent workflows. You will work closely with AI solution leads and an infrastructure team to ensure seamless deployment of Python‑based agentic frameworks on client‑managed Kubernetes clusters.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical point of contact for clients, leading discussions and setting delivery expectations.
• Design, build, and optimize complex GitLab CI pipelines for non‑deterministic AI agent workflows.
• Maintain multi‑stage Dockerfiles using enterprise‑hardened base images.
• Author and maintain Helm charts for microservice deployment on Kubernetes.
• Integrate pytest, evaluation frameworks, and LLM observability tools into automated CI workflows.
• Develop lightweight Python‑native proxies to resolve network and runner isolation issues with LLM endpoints.
• Collaborate with internal AI Solution Leads and external Azure/Kubernetes infrastructure teams.

Required profile

• Senior‑level expertise in designing and optimizing advanced GitLab CI pipelines.
• Strong hands‑on experience authoring Helm charts and multi‑stage Dockerfiles, especially with hardened base images.
• Advanced knowledge of Python package management, virtual environments, and test automation (pytest).
• Proven experience integrating CI/CD processes with AI/LLM workflows.
