Lead Electrical Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer to head all electrical engineering activities for the IA/PA Upgrade Project across multiple USSC platforms. The role involves power distribution design, LV switchboard/MCC modifications, motor‑feeder integration and interface management while ensuring safe, compliant electrical systems.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and review single‑line diagrams, load lists, cable sizing, earthing, lighting and tray routing.
• Design and modify 415 V switchboards/MCCs at CSP‑1, NGTP and TAE sites.
• Replace existing feeders and install new motor feeders for compressors, dryers and auxiliary systems.
• Ensure all work complies with ADNOC Offshore Electrical Design Guidelines.
• Integrate compressor packages, define protection settings, interlocks, alarms and shutdown logic.
• Coordinate with Process & Control teams for duty/standby logic and validate vendor power requirements.
• Review and approve all electrical deliverables and provide ADNOC standards guidance to subcontractors.
• Support site execution and liaise with engineering subcontractors, OEMs, vendors and ADNOC Offshore Engineering & Operations.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of electrical engineering experience, preferably in oil & gas.
• Proven leadership of multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Strong knowledge of offshore electrical design standards (ADNOC).
• Extensive experience with power distribution, switchboard design and motor control.
• Ability to manage subcontractors, vendors and coordinate cross‑functional teams.
