About the role
Dicetek LLC is looking for an experienced Lead ETL Engineer & Data Modeller to drive data integration, ETL, and data‑modelling initiatives for a banking client in the UAE. The role focuses on building scalable pipelines, audit and reconciliation frameworks, and data structures that support transaction processing, monitoring, and regulatory reporting.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop large‑scale ETL/ELT pipelines using Informatica and Snowflake.
- Create data structures for message tracking, audit logs, error queues and status history.
- Implement robust audit, reconciliation, exception‑handling and data‑quality frameworks.
- Optimize Snowflake workloads for performance, scalability, reliability and cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with solution architects, data architects, application teams and business stakeholders to define integration requirements.
- Establish standards and best practices for ETL development, data modelling, testing, deployment and documentation.
- Lead technical design reviews and mentor ETL developers and data engineers.
- Ensure compliance with data governance, security, privacy and banking regulatory requirements.
Required profile
- 8+ years of experience in ETL development, data engineering and data modelling, preferably in banking or financial services.
- Proven ability to design audit trails, reconciliation frameworks and data‑quality controls for high‑volume, mission‑critical environments.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving and stakeholder‑management skills.
- Experience leading technical teams and coordinating across multiple technology and business groups.
