Lead – Instrumentation, Controls & Automation (Infrastructure)

About the role

SEGULA Technologies is seeking a senior Lead for Instrumentation, Controls and Automation (ICA) to oversee infrastructure projects in Abu Dhabi. The role spans the full project lifecycle, from concept studies through to industrialisation and production.

Key responsibilities

• Manage ICA systems, including instrumentation, process control and automation, across all project phases.
• Lead the design, integration and commissioning of control systems for large‑scale infrastructure.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless automation implementation.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality and regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation, Controls, Automation or a related field.
• Minimum 15 years of experience supervising ICA activities.
• Professional Engineer (PE) or Chartered Engineer (CEng) certification.
• Proven track record in large infrastructure projects.
• Strong organisational and communication abilities.
