About the role
The Heat Treatment Technician will be responsible for operating and monitoring heat treatment furnaces and post‑weld heat treatment (PWHT) equipment on industrial projects. The role ensures all treatments meet quality, safety and project specifications.
Key responsibilities
- Operate heat treatment furnaces and local PWHT machines, monitoring temperature and cycle parameters.
- Install, calibrate and maintain thermocouples and temperature monitoring equipment.
- Prepare detailed heat treatment reports, documentation and compliance records.
- Ensure adherence to HSE requirements and quality standards throughout all activities.
Required profile
- Minimum 4 years of experience in heat treatment furnace operations and PWHT.
- Ability to read and interpret PWHT requests, procedures and technical reports.
- Experience in fabrication, construction, oil & gas or offshore projects is an advantage.
