Lead Pipeline Engineer

About the role

Worley is seeking a Lead Pipeline Engineer to head all pipeline engineering activities for ADNOC offshore projects in the United Arab Emirates. The role covers the full project lifecycle from concept and FEED through EPC, construction, installation, commissioning and start‑up, ensuring compliance with ADNOC requirements and international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate a multidisciplinary team of pipeline engineers, senior engineers, specialists and designers on offshore oil & gas developments.
• Develop and review pipeline design basis, routing studies, hydraulic and stability analyses, wall‑thickness calculations, buckling assessments and free‑span analyses.
• Produce mechanical design packages, material selection reports, stress analyses, alignment sheets and pig launcher/receiver designs.
• Review and approve EPC contractor deliverables, monitor progress against schedule and manage engineering change requests.
• Ensure all designs comply with ADNOC standards and international codes such as DNV, API, ISO and ASME.
• Participate in multidisciplinary design reviews, HAZID/HAZOP, SIL, constructability, value engineering and risk assessment workshops.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading pipeline engineering teams on offshore or subsea projects.
• Strong knowledge of ADNOC offshore requirements and international engineering standards.
• Ability to manage complex engineering scopes across concept, FEED, EPC and commissioning phases.
