Lead Piping Engineer – PMC (Ruwais)

About the role

This role offers an experienced PMC Lead Piping Engineer the opportunity to oversee the design, development and implementation of piping systems for a high‑profile client in Ruwais. You will ensure functionality, safety and compliance with ADNOC standards and international codes while coordinating with EPC contractors and multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise for all piping design activities and ensure compliance with relevant codes and ADNOC standards.
• Coordinate, monitor and manage piping design and engineering with the EPC contractor to meet project schedules.
• Review and approve engineering deliverables from consultants and contractors, conducting regular technical reviews.
• Participate in equipment sizing, layout, model and design reviews, and support installation, pre‑commissioning and commissioning phases.
• Collaborate with IPMT, ADNOC engineering, operations and other discipline engineers to resolve technical issues and maintain design integrity.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 15 years of oil & gas experience, including at least 5 years as a Lead Engineer on major petrochemical projects.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work independently.
• Proven experience with international piping codes, standards and ADNOC specifications.
