Lead UX Designer

About the role

We are looking for a Lead UX Designer to shape the user experience of our airline application suite. The role combines high‑level visual design, prototyping and team leadership to deliver intuitive, high‑performance interfaces that meet client and business requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Design, prototype and iterate visual aspects of new and existing airline software following user feedback and ISA standards.
• Collaborate with technical staff and clients across locations to understand problems and propose design solutions.
• Plan, organise and manage design tasks, providing guidance and feedback to junior designers.
• Resolve design‑related customer complaints and suggest enhancements.
• Demonstrate software prototypes to stakeholders and coordinate workload within an agile environment.
• Maintain regular status updates and escalate issues when necessary.
• Coach and develop team members, fostering a performance‑driven, engaged work culture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Computer Science or a related field.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Strong understanding of client business models and ability to translate them into user‑centred designs.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Experience using prototyping tools such as UXPin and InVision.
• Knowledge of design systems, user research, usability testing and interaction design methodologies.
