Learning & Development Specialist – Retail

About the role

The Learning & Development Specialist will drive the delivery of training solutions across IKEA stores and regional teams in the UAE, ensuring alignment with the Learning Service Level Agreement (SLA). You will work closely with store managers, HR business partners, facilitators and subject‑matter experts to create impactful learning experiences that support business priorities and brand competency.

Key responsibilities

• Translate business and training needs into annual and monthly learning plans that meet regional priorities and SLA commitments.
• Coordinate end‑to‑end delivery of classroom, virtual, blended and self‑learning solutions, ensuring facilitators and resources are ready.
• Drive learning engagement through campaigns, communication and social learning initiatives, promoting a strong learning culture.
• Monitor delivery, completion and certification metrics, providing accurate reporting and monthly dashboards.
• Maintain an active pool of facilitators and buddies to support service expectations.

Required profile

• Proven ability to plan, coordinate and monitor learning activities at store and regional levels.
• Strong stakeholder alignment skills with Store Management, HRBP and regional L&D teams.
• Experience delivering mandatory, compliance and behavioral development programs.
