About the role

GEMS Winchester Private School in Fujairah is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to join its dedicated team. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to provide day‑to‑day assistance, ensuring a smooth learning environment for all students.

Key responsibilities

• Assist teachers with a wide range of classroom tasks and administrative duties.
• Support individual students or small groups, especially in Mathematics and English.
• Prepare learning materials and resources as required.
• Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment.
• Collaborate with staff to monitor student progress and address learning needs.

Required profile

• Higher Secondary Education degree (grade 12) or a Bachelor’s degree.
• Strong foundation in Mathematics and English.
• Previous experience in a similar support role or working with children.
• Excellent command of English and good communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a school setting.
