Lecturer – Emergency Health Programs

About the role

The College of Health Sciences in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Lecturer for its Emergency Health Programs. The successful candidate will join the academic team, delivering undergraduate and honours teaching, supporting curriculum development and contributing to research in emergency health and paramedicine.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver lectures, seminars, practical classes, workshops and clinical sessions for emergency health and paramedic students.
• Develop teaching materials, assessment tasks and innovative learning activities.
• Participate in curriculum design, review and cross‑program teaching initiatives.
• Supervise honours and postgraduate research projects and provide academic guidance.
• Engage in scholarly activities, including peer‑reviewed publications and professional collaborations.
• Maintain currency with disciplinary developments and contribute to community and professional outreach.

Required profile

• Minimum Master’s degree in Paramedics or a related field.
• At least three years of teaching experience.
• More than five years of combined clinical and teaching experience.
• Ability to conduct tutorials, field excursions and clinical sessions.
• Experience in curriculum development and research supervision.
