Legal Assistant – Prosecution (Dubai)

About the role

This position supports prosecution activities in Dubai, handling investigative and procedural tasks in criminal cases. The role involves close interaction with courts, police stations, and detention facilities to ensure proper legal processes.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct investigations, interrogations, and witness hearings for criminal cases.
• Prepare and issue summons, arrest and search warrants, and pre‑trial detention orders.
• Manage seizure disposal, final case disposition, and refer accused to competent courts.
• Plead before courts and handle rehabilitation requests.
• Decide on opening criminal reports, grievances, and opinion files.
• Respond to police inquiries and inspect detention places, producing detailed reports.
• Consider and resolve grievances against prosecutor decisions.

Required profile

• UAE citizen, aged 21‑28, with good reputation and character.
• Medically fit and completed national service (for males).
• Successful completion of all required tests and interviews.
• Understanding of the position’s importance and readiness to assume responsibilities.
