Legal Contract Manager – Pharmaceutical

About the role

The legal team of a leading pharmaceutical company in the UAE is seeking a Contract Manager to oversee the full lifecycle of commercial agreements. This position offers the chance to work closely with cross‑functional stakeholders and support high‑impact business initiatives across multiple markets.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate, execute and renew commercial contracts.
• Maintain contract documentation, templates and governance processes.
• Collaborate with Regulatory Affairs, Quality, Commercial, Finance and Business Development to provide timely legal support.
• Monitor contractual obligations, compliance requirements and legal risks.
• Coordinate with external counsel and drive legal projects, reporting and process improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law or a related legal qualification.
• Proven experience managing commercial contracts in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare or other highly regulated manufacturing industries.
• Experience supporting manufacturing operations.
• Strong understanding of contract lifecycle management, legal documentation, compliance and regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and organisational skills.
