Legal Counsel

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Legal Counsel to join our team in Dubai. The successful candidate will protect the company’s interests by managing legal risks, overseeing contracts, and ensuring regulatory compliance across our engineering and construction projects.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal risk advice and support to management, especially on contract management.
• Interpret legal requirements and disseminate them to staff.
• Review tender documents and advise on legal implications.
• Monitor ongoing litigation, coordinate with external counsel, and report progress.
• Continuously monitor statutory compliance and prepare reports for executive meetings.
• Develop, review, and draft contracts, agreements, and internal policies to ensure legal conformity.
• Negotiate and modify contractual instruments to support business transactions.
• Liaise with relevant departments to implement actions mitigating identified legal risks.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of post‑qualification experience (bar admission or PQE).
• Law degree (LLB) or equivalent.
• Fluent in English and Arabic or French.
• Experience in the oil & gas or engineering & construction sector is preferred.
