Licensed Aircraft Engineer – Line Maintenance Support

About the role

Emirates Engineering is seeking a Licensed Aircraft Engineer to provide line‑maintenance support for its extensive Airbus and Boeing fleet. You will work in a GCAA‑approved environment, ensuring aircraft are serviced safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all regulatory and manufacturer requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine line‑maintenance tasks and defect rectification on assigned aircraft.
• Follow the latest Technical Publications, Aircraft Documentation, Technical Notices and Engineering Procedures.
• Verify that all personal licences and approvals are current and applicable to the aircraft types.
• Handle off‑aircraft activities such as spare‑parts management, hold items and equipment control, ensuring complete paperwork.
• Assess tooling and equipment for serviceability and use specialised tools where required.
• Execute troubleshooting procedures and component changes in line with AMM, IPC or vendor documentation.
• Maintain a clean work environment and adhere to all safety rules and company procedures.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, senior engineers and other colleagues to flag operational issues.

Required profile

• Valid Aircraft Engineer licence recognised by the GCAA.
• Experience with line‑maintenance on Airbus and/or Boeing aircraft.
• Familiarity with technical publications, service bulletins and quality notices.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, safety‑critical environment.
