Licensed Aircraft Engineer – Line Maintenance Support

About the role

Emirates Engineering is seeking a Licensed Aircraft Engineer to provide line‑maintenance support for its Airbus and Boeing fleet. You will perform routine maintenance, defect rectification and ensure compliance with manufacturer and regulatory procedures. The role involves close coordination with senior engineers and operational teams to minimise ground time and maintain safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out aircraft maintenance and servicing tasks in accordance with approved technical publications, AMM and IPC.
• Handle off‑aircraft activities such as spares management, robberies and hold items, ensuring complete paperwork.
• Determine suitability of tooling and equipment, using specialised tools where required.
• Execute troubleshooting procedures and component changes efficiently and cost‑effectively.
• Maintain clean work areas, uphold housekeeping standards and adhere to all safety regulations.
• Provide detailed reports on service delays, incidents and accidents, supporting quality improvement and safety culture.

Required profile

• Licensed Aircraft Engineer (TE.03 or TE.02) with a degree/honours in Aeronautical, Mechanical, Avionics, Electronic or Technical Engineering, or a Maintenance Engineering Licence.
• Minimum 10 years of engineering experience, including at least 5 years as certifying staff (or 8 years with 2 years certifying for TE.02).
• Approved for at least two aircraft types, with one of Emirates’ types (A380, A350 or B777).
• Preferred GCAA, UK CAA or EASA licence eligible for conversion and full knowledge of air legislation.
