Light Vehicle Driver – Logistics Operations

About the role

Al-Futtaim Automotive Logistics is seeking a Light Vehicle Driver to operate light vehicles and trucks across various AFL locations in the UAE. The role involves transporting goods, handling port clearance, picking, binning and scanning while maintaining high service quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Drive light vehicles and trucks up to 3.0 t across all AFL sites and throughout the UAE.
• Perform port clearance, picking, binning and scanning tasks using the RDT device.
• Maintain a 100 % damage‑free record and report any accidents promptly.
• Accurately complete vehicle log books and update fuel dates via the SMART Fill System.
• Wash, clean and fuel new units, ensuring compliance with company SOPs.
• Wear required uniform or PPE and interact professionally with internal and external customers.

Required profile

• Matriculation passed, aged 25 years or older.
• Minimum 2 years experience driving class 3 vehicles with a Category 3 licence.
• Basic knowledge of automotive maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Strong teamwork and time‑management abilities.

Required skills

• Proficient in driving and handling light vehicles up to 3.0 t.
• Ability to maintain and record accurate logs and reports.
• Knowledge of company quality SOPs and QC initiatives.
