Lobby Hostess – Luxury Hotel Guest Ambassador

About the role

We are seeking a warm, confident Lobby Hostess to be the first point of contact for guests at InterContinental Abu Dhabi. In this guest‑facing role you will create a welcoming atmosphere, support seamless arrivals and departures, and represent the IHG brand with genuine hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests warmly in the lobby, maintaining a visible and approachable presence.
• Assist guests with enquiries, directions, hotel facilities, restaurant reservations and local attractions.
• Recognise returning guests, VIPs and IHG One Rewards members to deliver personalised experiences.
• Coordinate closely with Front Office, Concierge, Bell Desk, Guest Relations, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage and other departments to fulfil guest requests.
• Support busy arrival and departure periods, including VIP arrivals, group movements and special events.
• Maintain the lobby and guest‑facing areas clean, organised and presentable at all times.
• Handle guest feedback and concerns professionally, ensuring prompt follow‑up by the appropriate team.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a guest‑facing role within a luxury hotel or hospitality environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Warm, confident, approachable and professional demeanor.
• Ability to anticipate guest needs and work collaboratively with multiple hotel departments.
