Logging Services Operator – Wireline Truck & Crane

About the role

The Logging Services Operator is responsible for safely driving wireline trucks and cranes to perform land‑based wireline operations. The role supports ADNOC Drilling projects by ensuring equipment is rigged, tested, and maintained according to HSE and client standards.

Key responsibilities

• Drive wireline trucks and light vehicles between base camp and operational sites.
• Rig up and rig down wireline equipment and tools for each job.
• Monitor and select appropriate X‑Over and X‑Tree sizes.
• Perform hydraulic oil and fluid level checks on wireline units.
• Allocate safety equipment and signage at the work location.
• Verify crew HSE passports before departing for the workshop.
• Complete daily wire logs, final reports, and ADNOC/ client checklists.
• Maintain truck inventory, conduct routine maintenance, and keep the vehicle clean.
• Assist with equipment testing, certification, and inspection.
• Report any smart‑monitor system deficiencies to the supervisor.

Required profile

• Diploma in a technical field such as engineering or mechanics.
• Valid driver’s licence for trucks and crane operation.
• Experience in wireline operations within the oil & gas sector.
• Familiarity with ADNOC, ADNOC Drilling, and UAE HSE regulations.

Required skills

• Wireline equipment rig‑up and rig‑down.
• Crane operation and load handling.
• Hydraulic system monitoring and fluid level checks.
• Use of smart‑monitor operating systems for equipment diagnostics.
• Equipment testing, certification and routine maintenance.
