Logistics Coordinator – Construction & Contracting

About the role

The Logistics Coordinator will oversee all logistics activities for construction projects, ensuring that materials, equipment, manpower and site resources are delivered on time and in compliance with company procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate project logistics planning, including material deliveries, transportation, equipment movement and site access arrangements.
• Manage the movement and tracking of construction materials, tools and equipment between suppliers, warehouses and project sites.
• Collaborate with procurement, project teams, subcontractors, suppliers and site management to guarantee timely availability of resources.
• Monitor delivery schedules, resolve logistics issues and maintain accurate records of deliveries, inventory movement and documentation.
• Support site teams with manpower mobilization, equipment allocation and transportation arrangements.
• Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and site logistics procedures.
• Prepare logistics reports, tracking sheets and updates for project management.
• Coordinate with local authorities and consultants for site access, permits and delivery approvals when required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• 3–7 years of experience in logistics coordination within the construction or contracting industry.
• Experience supporting large‑scale building, infrastructure or MEP projects is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, site operations and project logistics processes.
• Proven ability to coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors and transport companies.
• Good organizational, communication and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with logistics or project tracking systems.
