Logistics Coordinator – Freight Forwarding

About the role

Our client, a well‑established freight forwarding company in Abu Dhabi, is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to manage the end‑to‑end shipping process. The role involves coordinating transportation, handling shipments, and ensuring timely delivery while maintaining cost efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate the shipping of products from origin to destination.
• Arrange transportation, schedule staff, and orchestrate deliveries to meet customer demand with minimal delay.
• Receive products and coordinate their delivery.
• Prepare loads for shipment and ensure proper handling.
• Implement steps to avoid quality‑control issues.
• Manage activities throughout order fulfillment and transportation cycles to meet deadlines.
• Oversee inventory of goods and vehicles.
• Review freight costs, transportation rates, and raw‑material prices to control expenses.
• Streamline shipping and transportation processes.
• Travel as required and maintain a valid UAE driving licence.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in the freight and transportation industry.
• Strong knowledge of freight industry processes and operations.
• Valid UAE driving licence.
• Willingness to travel for job duties.
