Logistics Engineer – Dubai

About the role

Jacobs is expanding its Logistics advisory team in Dubai and is looking for a Logistics Engineer to support strategic planning and on‑site logistics execution for large construction projects.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing Logistics Strategic Plans for projects.
• Monitor logistical aspects of projects and provide feedback on delivery approaches.
• Support preparation, development and implementation of Logistics Plans.
• Plan site set‑up to move labour, plant and materials efficiently, covering hoarding, gates, accommodation, cranes, hoists, security, temporary services, material delivery and waste management.
• Develop internal and external logistics routes, ensuring separation of vehicles, machinery and people while considering future works.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of consulting experience.
• Professional memberships (CIOB / CMILT) advantageous.
• On‑site construction logistics experience in the region.
• Experience on major international projects preferred.
• Operational experience on similarly sized projects.
• Ability to propose new ideas, influence stakeholders and adopt innovative technologies.
