Logistics Officer – Construction Projects

About the role

We are looking for a Logistics Officer to support the Logistics Manager and Assets team in planning and executing construction logistics for our high‑profile projects in Dubai. The role ensures smooth movement of materials, equipment and workforce while maintaining site safety and HSE standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in detailed construction logistics planning and coordinate transportation, delivery, loading and unloading of materials and equipment.
• Manage site traffic, plan routes for removal and disposal of excavated materials, and organise workforce bus routes.
• Oversee material handling, storage, stacking and parking facilities on site and in yards.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, project and site engineers, and subcontractors to ensure seamless operations.
• Arrange and maintain portable toilets, sewage removal, potable and construction water supply, and temporary power distribution.
• Monitor site welfare facilities, watchmen attendance, and maintain office facilities for project staff.
• Respond to short‑notice changes and urgent logistics requirements while complying with HSE and safety procedures.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience, preferably 8‑15 years in construction or civil project logistics.
• Strong knowledge of construction material storage, equipment handling, site traffic management and GRN processes.
• Familiarity with ERP/logistics systems, preferably Xpedion.
• Good understanding of HSE requirements for construction logistics.

• ERP / logistics software (Xpedion or equivalent).
• GRN (Goods Received Note) process handling.
