Logistics Specialist

About the role

The Logistics Specialist independently coordinates, monitors, and optimizes shipment and logistics activities to ensure timely, cost‑effective, and compliant delivery of goods and services. You will act as the central point of contact for internal teams and external partners, driving efficient end‑to‑end logistics processes.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate end‑to‑end shipment activities, including scheduling, documentation, clearance, insurance, and final delivery.
• Review, validate, and reconcile shipping and delivery documents from suppliers, forwarders, and clearing agents.
• Serve as primary liaison with internal stakeholders (logistics, commercial, finance) and external partners (forwarders, insurers, suppliers).
• Track and analyze item requests and shipment statuses, aligning with business priorities and inventory needs.
• Prepare periodic logistics reports highlighting status, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Identify recurring logistics issues and propose corrective actions to improve accuracy, lead times, and cost efficiency.
• Maintain and enhance the database of forwarders and suppliers, assessing performance and data accuracy.
• Support audits and internal reviews by providing accurate logistics data and documentation.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of logistics experience, preferably in global forwarding, retail, or FMCG.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.
• CLMP certification is a plus.
• Proficiency in English.

Required skills

• Intermediate Excel skills.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365.
