Logistics Supervisor

About the role

The Logistics Supervisor will lead end‑to‑end warehousing and transportation operations to ensure Unilever brands reach customers efficiently across the UAE. You will be responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, optimizing costs, and delivering outstanding service while supporting a safe and sustainable supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee warehouse and transport processes to receive, store, pick, and dispatch products on time.
• Achieve On‑Time In‑Full (OTIF) targets and meet agreed service levels.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through robust stock control and regular reconciliations.
• Optimize fleet utilization, route planning and manpower to reduce logistics costs.
• Manage 3PL partners, ensuring compliance with contracts, quality standards and cost expectations.
• Lead reverse‑logistics, processing returns and credit notes within set turnaround times.
• Identify and implement continuous‑improvement projects that drive efficiency and cost savings.
• Provide operational reporting, performance analysis and actionable insights for decision‑making.
• Coach, train and manage the logistics team to foster accountability and continuous learning.
• Champion health, safety, quality and compliance across all logistics activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, Business Administration or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in logistics, warehousing, transportation or supply‑chain operations, preferably in FMCG.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, transportation planning and 3PL management.
• Proven stakeholder management, communication and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP or WMS systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel for data analysis.
• Experience with Power BI or other logistics analytics tools.
• Familiarity with telematics systems.
• Ability to generate actionable insights from operational data.
