About the role
The Logistics Supervisor supports daily operational duties at the Dubai South delivery station, deputising for the Operations Manager when required. The role focuses on safety, performance and continuous improvement of logistics processes.
Key responsibilities
- Prioritise and enhance safety standards at the delivery station.
- Supervise logistics assistants, coordinators and delivery associates to meet and exceed operational KPIs.
- Monitor and coach coordinator and associate performance, partnering with supporting departments to improve processes.
- Communicate expectations to delivery service providers and raise quality standards.
- Interview candidates for associate roles and manage driver/associate workload briefing.
- Track, trend and report site performance metrics, assisting the Operations Manager with regular reporting.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, logistics or a related field.
- Proven experience managing teams and improving performance metrics.
- Experience with planning, performance metrics and process improvement.
