Logistics Supervisor – Rush Operations

About the role

We are looking for a Logistics Supervisor to support daily operations at our delivery station, stepping in for the Operations Manager when needed. The role focuses on safety, performance and continuous improvement of shipment processes.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Operations Manager and act as their deputy during absences.
• Prioritize and enhance safety standards at the delivery station.
• Supervise logistics assistants, coordinators and delivery associates to meet operational KPIs.
• Monitor and coach coordinator and associate performance, partnering with support departments to improve processes.
• Communicate expectations to delivery service providers and raise quality standards.
• Interview and select candidates for associate roles.
• Brief and monitor driver and associate workloads, ensuring accurate administrative completion.
• Measure daily workflows and metrics, supporting the Operations Manager with tracking, trending and reporting.
• Train and mentor new associates, resolving process‑related issues as they arise.
• Provide flexible shift coverage and overtime as required.
• Assist in resourcing the function, including training needs, absence and performance management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics or a related field.
• Proven experience managing teams in a logistics environment.
• Experience with planning, performance metrics and process improvement.
• Ability to work flexible shifts and handle overtime.
