Machine Operator / CNC & Digital Fabrication Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Machine Operator / CNC & Digital Fabrication Specialist to run and maintain our CNC, laser and 3D‑printing equipment in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will translate design files into production‑ready machine settings, ensure high‑quality output and keep the workshop safe and efficient.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, calibrate and operate CNC routers, laser cutters and 3D‑printers according to job specifications.
• Interpret technical drawings and digital files to generate appropriate toolpaths, material fixturing and tolerances.
• Run test cuts or prints, identify errors early and propose practical adjustments.
• Maintain machines, tooling and consumables, complete maintenance logs and track material usage.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment or material defects, escalating complex issues when needed.
• Enforce safety protocols for dust extraction, laser operation, fire risk and material‑specific hazards.
• Communicate job status, machine usage and material consumption to the Production Manager and Head of Operations.

Required profile

• Fresh graduates or candidates with little to no prior experience are welcome.
• Strong technical judgment and willingness to learn machine settings and fabrication processes.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow safety and quality standards.
